چکیده

Environmental heat stress triggers a series of compensatory mechanisms in sheep that are dependent on their genetic regulation thermotolerance. Our objective was to identify genes and regulatory pathways associated with thermotolerance ewes exposed stress. We performed next-generation RNA sequencing blood collected from 16 pregnant ewes, which were grouped as tolerant non-tolerant according physiological indicator. Additional samples measure complete count. A total 358 differentially expressed identified after applying selection criteria. Gene expression analysis detected 46 GO terms 52 KEGG functional pathways. The top-three signaling p53, RIG-I-like receptor FoxO, suggested gene participation biological processes such apoptosis, cell immune response external stressors. Network revealed ATM, ISG15, IRF7, MDM4, DHX58 TGFβR1 over-expressed high potential. co-expression network involving the immune-related IRF7 DXH58 lymphocytes monocytes, consistent hematological findings. In conclusion, transcriptomic non-viral mechanism is induced by stressors appears play an important role molecular tolerance ewes.

Behavioral and physiological changes during heat stress in Corriedale ewes exposed to water deprivation

This study was conducted to investigate the behavioral and physiological changes of heat stressed Corriedale ewes exposed to water deprivation. Nine Corriedale ewes (average BW = 45 ± 3.7 kg) were individually fed diets based on maintenance requirements in metabolic crates. Ewes were assigned into three groups (9 sheep per treatment) according to a 3 × 3 Latin square design for 3 periods with 2...

Physiological and transcriptomic analyses reveal a response mechanism to cold stress in Santalum album L. leaves

Santalum album L. (Indian sandalwood) is an economically important plant species because of its ability to produce highly valued perfume oils. Little is known about the mechanisms by which S. album adapts to low temperatures. In this study, we obtained 100,445,724 raw reads by paired-end sequencing from S. album leaves. Physiological and transcriptomic changes in sandalwood seedlings exposed to...

Heat stress phenotypes of Arabidopsis mutants implicate multiple signaling pathways in the acquisition of thermotolerance.

To investigate the importance of different processes to heat stress tolerance, 45 Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) mutants and one transgenic line were tested for basal and acquired thermotolerance at different stages of growth. Plants tested were defective in signaling pathways (abscisic acid, salicylic acid, ethylene, and oxidative burst signaling) and in reactive oxygen metabolism (ascorbi...

Transcriptomic and Functional Analyses Reveal That PpGLK1 Regulates Chloroplast Development in Peach (Prunus persica)

Peach is an ideal species for fruit tree research because of its small, fully sequenced genome. Chloroplast development is dependent on the tight cooperation between the nuclear and plastid genomes, and is regulated by GLK transcription factors. In this work, the pigment content was monitored and the chloroplast-to-chromoplast conversion during the fruit ripening was visualized by transmission ...

Identification of genes associated with heat tolerance in Arctic charr exposed to acute thermal stress.

Arctic charr is an especially attractive aquaculture species given that it features the desirable tissue traits of other salmonids and is bred and grown at inland freshwater tank farms year round. It is of interest to develop upper temperature tolerant (UTT) strains of Arctic charr to increase the robustness of the species in the face of climate change and to enable production in more southern ...
